It must be the end of the year – there is once again only one new wide release.  Everything else is artsy, controversial, or begging for an award in limited release. The Best Man Holiday The long awaited sequel to the 1999 hit romcomdrama brings the original cast back for Christmas years later.

Review – The Book Thief

Based on Markus Zusak‘s award winning novel, The Book Thief is World War II through the eyes of a young girl in Nazi Germany.  Narrated by Death (Roger Allam), it is a touching story about her struggle to find a place in life, and her search for understanding in the tumultuous time.
