Sorry! No good stories. Unless you include getting to take my family to Orlando with me and saving money, since it was business and pleasure. 🙂

Having no room because the assistant mixed something up and having to sleep in the lobby until it was resolved. I did get free drinks at the bar though!

After boarding the plane for San Francisco, we began to taxi. During the trip down the runway there was a loud bang and the plane lurched forward. I look over at the pilot sitting beside me and he looked calm so I relaxed. After about 20-30 minutes we were informed that the engine caught on fire and we had to wait for he fire department to finish their check before we can head back to the terminal. While everyone else was upset that they were going to be late or miss an event, I was cool. I’d rather be late or miss an event and still be alive.

I got to my seat on the airplane and someone was already sitting there. Turns out that seat was double booked. The lady was traveling with her family and wanted to be close to the grand kids. Therefore I was marched up to first class. I was delighted to be in a comfortable spacious leather seat sipping the complementary drinks while my co-workers and boss were still in coach class.

Really don’t have a good one since I’ve only taken one business trip in my life…I guess the best story from that trip was when traveling in the rental minivan with my manager he plugged in his own personal GPS and the navigation voice was Snoop Dogg.

Actually, I so miss this is travel since I left my full-time job and started my own consultancy. I would get people together that I knew and every single city and we would have drinks & Dinner together – great fun bringing people who didn’t know each other together.

I’ve never had the privilege of working for a company that required travel. I would love to one day but I feel that in the end, it would become taxing after a while.
